Does anybody know anyting about this Loco?
Have been looking all over the Internet and
can not come up with anything but a photo.
What passenger service did it run in? I have
been told it was in service around 1937-39
and Santa Fe displayed it at the Chicago's
World Fair along with some early EMD's.
Concor has released some passenger cars
but I have been told they are a Concor
    creation and not real.

    Thank You

As a "Hudson Nut" I can tell you it was one of the biggest and heaviest Hudsons built. Built by Baldwin in 1937, it had 84 inch drivers and weighed in at 420,400lb. Santa Fe had 16 Hudsons total, but only a few were "Blue Goose" and I don't know what routes they ran on. :D

The Blue Goose (there was only one) pulled the Chief (all Stainless steel cars) out of Chicago to La Junta Colorado starting in 1938 until ?

yes there was only one blue goose # 3460 , concor made a 3461 for those who wanted to double head steam !!!!!!!!! she was santa fe's only streamlined engine and her " regular assignment was to pull " the chief " from chicago to la junta and back , with 84" drivers ( over 7 foot ) she was know to hit 100+ mph , and yes she was scrapped , along with what should be done with those awful looking passenger cars con cor made, 99% of the time she pulled olive green heavywieght cars!!!!!!!!!

Thank You all very much for the info. Your efforts and much appreciated. As for the
Concor passenger cars, I guess I will now have
    to buy some paint.
