Funny, there's NOTHING there that hasn't already previously announced. There are additional photos and line drawings, but not of any products not already publicly announced somewhere, if not on the Atlas site.

I see some obfuscation and feinting going on - either to cover up the lack of new products, or to maximize the impact of a new "blockbuster" announcement.

What's it gonna be?? VARR's F45 or Victor M's Atlantic? [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Weird... after telling us they would only be making announcements on a monthly basis, now they do so at one time for three months worth!

Very little for me. A few single-sheathed box cars and perhaps a few of the "shorty" tank cars.

    Everything else is too modern!

This breaks from their previous release protocol. Before, they wouldn't release things in advance, but rather would release them all on "July 31st" for example and then set the expected release date accordingly.

Maybe since none of these are truly "new" releases they are going to start giving more lead time on those types of announcements. Guess they're trying to make their printed catalogs a little more interesting. Regardless, I'm sure we will see some NEW stuff from them as well.

Or, (putting on my "vicious rumours, scandels, and hysterical overreaction" hat [IMG] ) maybe Atlas is closing their doors and this represents the final production list....their last hoorah!!!

  5. VARR gives Atlas a pass for right now:

One of my DREAMS has FINALLY BEEN ANSWERED!!!!

VIRGINIA CENTRAL CARS in GREEN!!!! WHOO HOOO!!!!

Note: The VARR System is currently Exploring the possibillity of buying out the shortline Virginia Central (not that a new VC car is going to be available in N-Scale).
