    Wow! I never even heard of them before.
    Their site looks like they sell everything. From the sound of it, they are only affecting Walthers, and maybe other distributers I never heard of.

    The whooshing sound your hear is the contant stream of expletives from Milwaukee. NOW this merger makes sense. Horizon just bought their way into the number two (possibly the number one) position in the market.

    Years ago I worked for a distributor, D.N. Mallory in Kalifornia. At that time, Athearn was the dominant manufacturer. Losing Athearn would have been a serious blow to the company then, as I am sure it will be to many small distributors now.

    Horizon started out in the R/C airplane business, then added Team Losi R/C cars as an exclusive line a few years ago. They've been distributing model trains for about six or seven years now.
