So I tried running it on DCC and it seems to have a connection issue at the tender drawbar connection as if I hold the tender down on the front truck, it makes the connection. Any body had luck with a good fix? I also remember seeing on one of the nscale forums someone had tinkered a bit with their Challenger and found the motor bearings were machining themselves off in the chassis and leaving shavings in the gear sets. He had modified his drawbar connection and did something to the tender pickups as well as remove the spring off leading truck on the locomotive to improve pulling power(90 cars pulling power). If one could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.
