Yes, thats how they generally sell it, but you can buy the system on its own... Its called the EZ something or other....LOL. To me, it looks alike a great entry level setup. You can pick em up for under $70, which I think is a bargain if you want to 'feel the water', and cheap enough to pass onto a nephew / grandchild when you decide yea or nay.
