Odd question for ya, guys, I have a couple locomotives that are on my list of possible future projects, and I will require the trucks, frame and mechenism from a GG-1 to build them. Can any of you guys reccomend a strong and reliable GG-1 that I can use as a staring point? Just currious.
The best GG-1 is the Trix or Broadway Limited but they are going to cost $$$$. I have several Rivarossi GG-1's that run well but might have the deep flanges on the wheels. The IHC or Mahano GG-1's would be my third choice. Bob
