Thank you for the compliment. Next picture I made during a business trip to Denver back in 2006 (May 1, 2006 Rollins siding Co I119). ....It took me untill now to improve my skills to be able to build these gons. (most info from Trainboard)

In the early 2000s, getting up to about mid-2000s, the steel gons were relatively easy to see. After about 2005, they were replaced by aluminum cars. I have only a couple shots of the hi-side steel gons.

This is an EB coal load approaching the cut at old Tunnel 17: (2004-ish?) I think these are NORX cars.

This is a Mike Bateman shot on what seems to be #758, an NORX train:

It is still a short train (GBRX and PSCX gon). ...but I am happy the way it looks so far. ..some cars to go to make it a coal train.

    Hi All,

Hopefully everybody had a wonderfull Christmas.

I have completed the decal artwork for the UP/D&RGW coal Liner version of the Thrall gon. I will build a new master with the prototypical reinforcement ribs.

Black will be printed in white.

    All,

I have completed the styrene car body of a D&RGW/UP coal liner (type G-125-1).
Type G-125-1 has reinforcement strips aligned at the top of the wider strips at left and right side, furthermore there are small reinforcements at the bottom ribs.

Hi , I have finished a couple of coal gons...added 3x PSCX, the 5x D&RGW coal liners and 1x UP ccoal liner. It is starting to become like a small coal train now.
