Hi Everyone!! If I sound excited, it's because I am!! And in a moment, you'll understand why!! Many of you will remember the creation and launch of a new web site that allow the sharing of Altas RTS software files - the site became know as the RTS Site. Well, since January when the originally started, the response has been phenomenal. An average day will see a large number of visitors, and the list of available designs is growing all the time. This great response has prompted me to create a bigger and better version of the RTS Site. I would like to introduce to you the Layout Depot. This site is similar to the RTS site, but is capable of collecting more information about the design files that are posted. It also gives you the ability to Search the different designs on a large number of criteria. The focus is longer on just Atlas' RTS Software program, but now also supports others such as CadRail, WinRail, 3rd Plan It!, and others. Take a look around, I am certain that you will love what you see. Layout Depot: http://www.layoutdepot.com Enjoy! Peter Bechard Web Site Host - Layout Depot
As I said in another forum, this man is suffering from premature proclamation. If you go to the site, you are met with a sign that says it is under construction... Wait a couple of days, and then try it out.
I've had emails from three who have got in okay, and two others who have had problems. I have tried to access the site probably 8 times from ATlas forum, from layout design sig and from trainboard all with the same results. For some reason it is working for some, but not for others. He slapped my wrist in the Atlas forum. If he had business acumen, he would be grateful that some one is letting him know that there are problems still. How many of us have gone to a site that wasn't working, never to return again.
Your provider is probally slow to update their DNS entries. If you are having problems- I'm sure I will from home. I personally love it when I get ANY feedback on my web pages. It tells me that people are actually looking, and helps me out on which direction I should take things.
Peter sent me another way to access the site; so I now have it bookmarked to look at more in detail this weekend. Thank you Peter.
