Wow... how underwhelming... I can't see a single car I really would like to have (sight-unseen). Perhaps the RI 50' Box and maybe the CN Bulkhead FLat... but only after seeing the pix will I decide. BTW: Thanks for posting the list Jerry! [ 31. July 2004, 15:16: Message edited by: Calzephyr ]
It's been 18 months since Micro-Trains has issued a new release that I've bought (the ACL 40' box). I've only bought one re-release (Sinclair tank) in that period as well. They're missing the mark with steam and transition era modelers, unlike Atlas.
I'll agree. My era is late 1960's, circa 1968. I've bought one MT car in the last 2-2&1/2 years. All of my other purchases have been Atlas, IM, DI. Boxcab E50
they can't please everyone every month. I ordered my CN car from Chuck already, that is it for me though.
I'm bagging a MILW boxcar, CN bulkhead flat, and the GN caboose. The wood caboose is too early for me, but still mighty nice.
You know I would love to pick up the second in the BN Containers series but I just can't seem to pull the triger when its $20 bucks. Like several of you I may just buy the Bulkhead flat and call it good for the month.
Ordered the CN Flatcar, NYC Boxcar and the BN Container. I just can't pass up the container when I own ever other city trailer/container that MT has made thus far. I picked up the coveted "BN Chicago" trailer in a hobby shop that was primarily RC Cars and had the trailer marked BELOW retail cost. If they only knew how much some people will pay on eBay for these things (not me).
