We have our extended family Christmas celebration on Christmas Eve and I was the fortunate recipient of a gift certificate to the local train store.
Well Santa left in my stocking two GHQ 1940s truck, one a pick up the other a dump truck and set of mini metals 1954 trucks.
I received a substantial Amtrak gift certificate for riding anywhere, and no expiration date. Whee! OK, not N-Scale, but just as exciting.
I got a multi-way tripod. Works as a monopod, and can also mount the camera on a crossarm, and upside down. Pretty neat!
A new furnace. No, wait... Actually, at a recent train show we treated ourselves to the 2016 edition of the Kato Operation North Pole Express with DCC installed in the locomotive. (The blue one; the yellow one is the 2015 version.)
I was VERY GOOD this year. Bachmann EM-1 DCC and Sound B&O and a Rapido GMD-1 in CN Green also DCC and Sound.
Gift certificates to the LHS. Now we just need Kato to release the P42 with sound. Merry Christmas to all.
My son got me this cool booth so I don’t have to wait for spring to come and wife let me preorder some more broadway limited stuff
My secrete Santa left behind about a dozen 3D packs from 'miniprints'. Oddly enough they knew *exactly* which ones I wanted. 12yo Grandson pitched in and selected 'Rabbit Fight Club' in HO scale because they don't make it in N-Scale. Wife got me a 'Model Railroader' calendar. ♥ I got me, well, um, never mind. ☻
The 2016 is one of my favorites. I actually have them all, 2015 to 2019 with the 2019 being my all time favorite, 2016 a close second. Great trains!
A neighbor gave me some CDs she still had. 'Constructing DPM Kits' with Miles Hale. 'DCC Sound on Board' Spectrum Steam Sound User's Guide & Spectrum Technical Reference 'Model Railroader Academy' Installing DCC from start to finish. 2005 -2017 (never opened) Hopefully they will be helpful but the CD player in this confuser doesn't work well. So that will probably be my first investment and better learning of Windows 10/11. Oh well it is winter and the electric bike isn't to safe now. Rich
