    Hello,

It's a pity, but to find still some of this kit's is very difficult.

I own from the following everything apart the kit 2641K engine Co.

What would be a good replacement ? I don't like too much the version from micro structures, undepending from the other nice buildings that I have from them.

    Greetings

    Armand

Those are hard to find, and they sell for too much money on ebay. I bought a Walthers Catalog to see what all is available

    Hello Robert,

Thanks for the information. I see for the moment no other solution than kit bashing. Vollmer 9550 with demolished framework house behind and some new wood construction in american style could be suitable.

Armand, I know someone locally that MAY be selling a couple of the fire station kits. He didn't use them because he believes they are oversized for Z scale. I couldn't say since I've never seen one built up. He used the MicroStructures Fire station instead. Let me check with him and see if he has sold them yet.

As a side note for kitbashers, the last in the Hallmark ornament mini-fire brigade series this year was the fire house. It is a low relief structure but could be kitbashed to deepend the side walls. Unfortunately no truck comes with it and this is apparently the last release in the mini-Fire Brigade Series. Don't know why Hallmark cut this series. Even the Hallmark shop owners I've talked with were scratching their heads since it was one of the more popular series.

    Thanks a lot Randy,

If you could find one, that would be great. :w20z6q:

Bingo. After 5 years of watching and searching, I finally catched yesterday the engine company on ebay, together with Ed's and Dolly's. :w20z6q:
Last two I had already, so for stock.

Sometimes it takes a while to get things off ebay, or other places. I tried to win a turntable auction, and lost every auction for over a year, no matter what I bid.

Then Lady Light offered one on a buy it now, so I snapped it up quick. But what I got was all broken up parts. Then a year after that, I made a trade, and got one that works from John Bartolotto.

At least you now have the full set, and it probably feels good, after all that long time looking. ;)
