..And prove usefull!!!! I thought all the diesel modelers could use this somewhat so, I'm posting a link to it! Usefull picture! Hope this helps those looking for roof pictures for modeling sources! I believe its a SD-70MAC, but I could be mistaken! [ 22. August 2002, 05:21: Message edited by: 7600EM_1 ]
Alan, I must give credit where its due..... Barb had sent me a link to the picture in yahoo messenger an I had simply thought, the modelers sure can put that to good use, and I simply posted it on the board. I had forgotten to mention this when I had made the topic, being Barb had a ton of pictures for me to look at so.. I was in a hury to keep up.. But thank her for finding it, I just simply posted it on the board! Glad someone had seen it an all and replied for its use. I thought it was a VERY usefull picture! Now to find a picture of each loco from the roof.. That would be good for everyone to cover the differences in all the different types of diesels... [ 24. I am getting the dreaded RED "X". The "properties" show this photo to be -1KB and only 28 pixels wide?
Catt, The correction is very welcome, and appreciated! Being I'm no "Diesel Weisel" Give me STEAM anyday! I'll tell what I can off the top of my head, and look up what I don't know! [ 25. August 2002, 08:42: Message edited by: 7600EM_1 ]
Your very welcome ROMAFERN I know how usefull overhead shots can be.. Specially when needed! So, but it was one I didn't find on my own, LadySunShine, had found it an I simply posted it, knowing that maybe someone could use it and all so....If I helped someone today with a modeling project, GREAT! If not, well it might help someone in the future!
Funny what catches the eye. I was paying far more attention to the ties that had been replaced in the track and thinking how neat that would be to model. And then I realized that you were talking about the loco...
