Howdy all. I made one heck of a catch today.

While going to my doc in College Station, TX. I had to pass through Hearne Tx, which has a nice borg yard. Eating my lunch at McDonalds, I heard a train horn. Here comes a UP SD-70, and,,,, Wisconsin Central SD-45 along with a gray CN unit numbered with WC under the number. I was very surprised, to say the least.

Very interesting catch! I wonder what the story is behind that gray WC unit? I never followed that company closely. Except for their ex-Milw SDL39 units.

WC is owned by CN, Ken, and has probably been transferred south of the border to replace retired units, or bolster operations.
As for the colour scheme, that's interesting in itself. Maybe an ex-leaser? Alstom, being and SD40?

Nice shots, Greg. Any more of the CN unit?

Is the WC still being operated as a seperate company? I was thinking they were absorbed into CN?

I know the SDL39's are gone. What other units are now off the property? So that they'd be power short.........?

No gary sure don't my batteries in the camera, went dead.

I think we need to do away with the fallen flags, meaning ,make the class 1's of today be the fallen, and bring back the old ones. Yeah I like that idea, adios
