    Nice photo, Roger, thanks. This K-3 looks lighter and less beefy than I remember K-11s and K-14s on the Harlem Division, probably because I was younger, so they looked massive standing on the platform...LOL

    That's a good looking Pacific, Roger, but then the NYCS had a reputation for producing good looking engines. You continue to bring great historical photos to this forum and I thank you.

    Nice picture - thanks Roger.
    I also was thinking this looked like a lighter Pacific, but it must be an illusion. The K-3p was not as heavy as, for instance the K-5 class, but its weight is right up there at 295,500 pounds. Wasn't this the class that pulled the 20th Century Limited before the Hudsons took over? They did the job until the trains became too heavy for them.
