The steel angle support frame for my new workbench.
Melamine desktop of my new desk. 1/4" thick aluminum angle supports the front span.
Aluminum angle bolted to wall. I drilled countersunk holes to get the screws flush with the angle. I used #14 2 1/2" Spax screws.
Aluminum angle for support across the front of the desk. I used 1/4" thick 1" angle.
I drilled a 5/64" pilot hole in the 1/4" aluminum angle.
I'll use slotted steel angles to hold up the desk beneath the layout inside the closet. I chose 1 1/2" steel to provide enough support...
