Track End Made Into Main Line

The perfect place on my original layout for a possible extension rail was at the end of a stub siding. I ripped up the track for the siding (at the extreme left side of the shot) for about 5 feet, started a grade and made it into a main line leading into an extension around the room. Please ignore the backdrop in the picture. It is still being worked on
