The Turntable And Its Relationship To The Switching Yard

The Switching Yard on the JJJ&E is comprised of two ladder yards. One ladder yard can be accessed from the mainline track on top of the layout near the backdrop. The second yard can be accessed from the mainline track in the front part of the bench work. One track from each yard will be angled to access the turntable. The tracks at the end of the Switching yard will be adjusted to accommodate this access to the Turntable.
