Soldering track 3: Set up
I use a short piece of pine 1X3 as my track soldering station. It keeps things aligned and straight as well as keeping my hands free to worry about the iron and solder. Two plastic pins are used to secure both ends of track to the board. You will need to drill small pilot holes for the pins to go through the pine. Solder flux paste is added to the joiners before the track is assembled.
