Passing on the switchback - Cass, WV

Spruce Knob (all-day trip) train heading downhill waits above switchback as Whittaker Station train heading uphill (powered by former WM Shay 6) pulls through the switch and into the long switchback tail track. Downhill train will then proceed into the switchback tail track also, then reverse direction and head downhill (where #6 is in photo). Switch will then be thrown again for #6's train to proceed uphill (2004).
