New England Southern GP39-2 #2370

Former UP GP39-2 sits in the "Canterbury Yard" on former B&M track. This former UP engine is currently the only power for NEGS, a small shortline that serves a few industries in Tilton and Concord NH. Two weeks after this picture was taken, she was involved in a slow speed derailment south of Concord and rolled on her side. It is believed that snowmobiles packed the ROW causing ice to derail the locomotive.
