My first layout in Z scale used marklin starter set. some building are kit and some are scratch built. Layout is 72" x 31" Using marklin track with cork roadbed. 2% grade on both sides of large bridge. One tunnel in middle right side. Layout made from 2" foam and 1" x 3" framing. No! legs set on table light and easy to move.
