That particular UP Steam logo was outlawed by UP (the UP Steam Crew designed and sold it, no less), so that shirt is rarity nowadays.
Outlawing a UP steam locomotive on a t-shirt is just a worse as slapping a UP patch on a CNW, SP or Rio Grande locomotive.
The UP Steam logo wasn't 'officially licensed' by UP, and the powers that be outlawed it. Might have been the guy that just left the CEO postion at UP that caused that. The UP Steam logo was unique, and I though it looked a lot better on a hat, T-shirt, etc than the standard, boring UP shield.
Yes. The steam logo looks good. Classy. (Something missing from most railroads today, class.) That management cannot connect the dots, just serves as further proof for me, of inadequate leadership personnel. :sad: Boxcab E50
