Is it just me, or did you use a monster lens to reach out for this Tunnel 4 shot? Beautiful shot--almost not datable for the last 25 years!
Hi HemiAdda2d: I used an F 2.8 Nikkor 70-200 VR/ED Glass on a Nikon D2XS Body for this shot (Hand held - No Tripod!). I prefer this equipment for wildlife and landscape work; I am an artist and illustrator. Thanks for the kind words. Erik
Hmm, For some reason it looked like that required a long piece of glass... I have shot there several times, too. Doh!
I have a 300 and a 600 but I hate lugging them around! the 70-200 is big enough for me. I am also not a big fan of the compression from the long tele. Cool but not me. Whew! I should dig up dome of the shots I did with the 300 while hiking the East end Moffat tunnel portal up on the ridge looking down.
