A BNSF Stack train creeps down Stein's Hill on Cajon Pass. We talked to the crew, who were very nice and handed us some bottled water, and they let us know that the train was creeping because even though all the units were all on full dynamic braking. The stack train of 8,000 tons was pushing on the down the hill. Thankfully the dispatcher was able to put the train into the clear and let it proceed.
