Thank you, Kurt, very typical for the IHB. You see it on most of the pictures. It is scratch built. The others are "just" custom painted........... Happy when you like it! Best, Sven
Sven, Love the weathering on the rolling stock as well as the entire scene. Very, very cool and super realistic! What is your preferred weathering technique for buildings? I am afraid to start weathering and overdo it hence my ask. Thanks! -Tiest Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Sven, that is amazing work. I thought your top photo posted on March 9th was an actual prototype photo. I looked at it several times before I realized it was a model.
So I have a request could you take a few pictures on the side with the old coal tower? I absolutely love seeing the old dilapidated relics like that
Yes that first one by the shops Thanks! It is so cool! That feeling of being abandoned yet…still access not quite torn up yet just makes me believe we are in 70s maybe early 80s. and that tower or signal lying across track just adds so much. I keep looking at those shops because you got such a great balance between the scenery grass growing, cracks in concrete, rusted sand towers, and just enough junk lying around to make it look just right.
That was our intention, Chessie System time!! Best, Sven BTW, we love it too when things are not looking brand-new
And with this freight train, you may want to follow us to Florida. Coming soon! Enjoy your Sunday! Sven
Sven, I love the last image! The background blends into the foreground seamlessly! I also love the seashore! Scott
I can look at these photos all day. It's not just the modeling I like, but it's the photography too! I can model but I just cant's seem to get the photography right most of the time. These models always come out with great photography!
