Ups - 85$ might be a bit stuff to only drop in for an hour or so... It obviously wasn't meant to be...
The $85 is for all week registration. If you only want to go to the public show Friday or Saturday, its $8 per day
come for the public show on Friday and Saturday anyway, only like 8-10 bucks if I remember right don't have to pay the full convention pricing rich www.rslaserkits.com
I'm hoping to make a connection to where one of the layouts will allow me to run at least one dcc-equipped engine on their layout.
Jim, just bring it on down to the FreeMoN setup, and have either WiThrottle or EngineDriver installed. Would be great to meet you in person.
Rick, I may ask for you by name, if that's OK. It would be awesome if we could run some trains. I would buy pizza or whatever for the group if we could. Thanks Rick!
Of course, but there will only be three of us: Mark, his father and me. So, two old guys and Mark. I will be in a blue shirt, with the Silicon Valley FreeMoN logo
We are packed and ready to leave in the morning. Only 880 miles or so. See you there. And yeas everything in the van is N scale rich www.rslaserkits.com
A reminder that today (June 20) is the day to vote for the N Scale Vehicle of the Year Awards during registration! Carter
So today I woke up, in Winnemucca NV, around 4:30am, had breakfast and was on the road by 6:00am PDT! Pulled into the convention site at 12:15pm MDT (5 hours 15 minutes travel time, plus one hour time zone change). We had the combined layout running by 3pm. Still some quick fixes to do in the morning, but every thing is going great. Photos to come. If you are here, please drop by to visit.
These are some photos Mark took during the setup process This was only about half done, waiting for me to get there
