    Garth,
I think my very first Z purchase was a Pro-Z set. Hate to mod it, so I'm looking at my Crown EF64 as my first victim. Looks like photo-etching is in my near future to get the car body I want.
Craft-S also has a nice trolley body kit that I'm assembling when I get time here and there.

Ive moved towards Sacramento Northern Traction as well. Working on my first set of Box Freight Motors on GP chassis. Let's see some shots of the Craft S trolley!

    Dear Joe,

Yes!! Z Scale Traction! The next horizon in 220 to 1. It's all possible and your Uncle Guido is happy to hear you have the interest. Prototypes? There are thousands. Freight boxes? Many to select from. Overhead wire? Doable with a larger trolley or shoe. Next time your back east stop up with me to Seashore Trolley Museum in Maine and I'll give you some rides on the 1 to 1 scale cars for inspiration. You could get some "electrical therapy" and a few 600 volt thrills. Would be nice to hear of interest from others.

    Best, Ron:tb-cool:

That's an awesome tram model! I've had many plans for traction models but haven't actually built anything yet, except for some Japanese N-scale stuff which I sold off to fund my On3 modeling. I'm very tempted to model the Deadwood Central which was a 3' gauge trolly line that ran in North (or was it South?) Dakota. There was also a 42" gauge electric line that ran in Denver Colorado that would make a great model in Sn42 (S scale on HO gauge track)... Then there's the Hearshy Electric line in Cuba which ran sugar trains with GE steeplecabs as well as ancient US built interurban passenger cars. Great stuff!
