Thanks for the wonderful photos ... some comments: z-scale sewage treatment plant ... what an "industry" to model now that is a cool suspension bridge ... now that is a cool-looking micro-layout ... I see they modeled part of the Maglev system ... interesting scenic item This scene got me thinking about z-scale trams and LRVs. There are many really cool reproductions of current generation (and past) of the various LRVs used around the world (LRV = Light Rail Vehicle / trolley / Streetcar) availabile in HO and N scale ... but nothing in Z. Would these be even possible to model in Z? Most of these vehicles have dark-tinted glass so hiding the motor wouldn't be a problem ... and most, if not all of them are multi-unit articulated cars (most 3-parts, some 5, some 7) ... so there would be plenty of room for all the "inards". anyway, welcome to this forum and thanks again for the photos.
some time ago I was starting some static models of some Chicago EL models, and with my usual blend of ignorance and bravado I decided that Z would be the way to go. I will have to dig out the sample of EL line that I built (still have it, well the model at least!). Heavy traction in Z should be a definite must have. Chris
