Ok, every once in a while you take a picture that you just really like. Lets make this a thread on what is your best photo. It would be nice for people to look at a thread and see what people see as the best in Z. It might even impress them enough to try and model Z. Mine of course is of the mogul that I weathered the wheels and side rods. I don't know why but that is my favorite picture. [IMG]

That really is a great photo Joe, I really like the ballast and the rails contrasting the loco, and that is one fine prize of a loco!

Here is one of my favorites, even though I have not finished this scene yet.

Joe, what a good tread. I remember that picture. I always like the out of focus background with a sharp subject. It has a very artistic look to it.

Robert, I also remember yours. That is the best waterfall I have ever seen, so how about doing Niagara Falls. :D

Mine is a picture of a CSX train of course.

Hard for me to pick a best photo, so far all of mine show a layout under construction in the background.

So for now something to show off to the N scalers:

I kind off like this one off my first "Needle Eye" locomotive in the snow.
The picture is not 100% sharp but I like the scene.

I can't say it's my best, but it shows a good view of my coffee table layout. It's taken a couple of years ago with a 2 mpix Nikon compact camera.

They are even better to look at in person! There are several Noch breifcase layouts available, where you can enjoy your trains at work, or on the road. There is even a small vacation fun set with track, loco, 1 car, and a 9v battery power pack that fits in a 4" x 5" x 2" travel case for those emergency operating sessions. I have one, as well as a solar power suitcase set.

You can even build a small layout in a silverware case that gives you lots of modeling action!

Torsja, that picture with the finger really puts things in perpective! What a great shot. Thieu, that shot with the bridge is great! I like the track work and balllast. Tim I was wondering which of your fantastic scratch builds you'd post. Can't wait to see that in a yard!

It may be slightly fuzzy , but it's amazing. How big is the layout the scene is from?
