I thought I'd try out the recently-added You Tube video editing option on a couple of my old videos of Sweethome Chicago.

Nothing too flashy at first, other than a change of colour to make the videos look a bit more realistic for their time periods

First up is a 1940 film of an NYC, Alco S1 diesel, with the film/movie made to look like it's from 1940

Next up are a couple of BN GP39Es (Ex GP30 and GP35), again at Sweethome Chicago, this time with Cinemascope colouring

I'll try a few more effects soon

The first one was pretty decent. I would have pushed it a little more towards the blue hue, but not bad. But the second one, AMAZING! The cinemascope effect really makes the video have that "shot in the 70s to early 80s" look. Certainly helps to have models and a layout that are un-freakin'-believable, of course. But I bet I could have passed some of that video off for 1:1 scale to some people. Great job, Jon. Oh, and thanks for the heads-up on the YouTube effects. Had no idea they'd released them. Must go tinker...

Jon: You have a bunch of videos on You Tube. I like them all; very good!

Also liked the Jadgpanther 1/6 scale armor at Cardiff. Neat!!
