True but shipping is only Five Bucks!!!! [IMG]

That is amazing!! Makes me want to hone my building skills. I can see it now, so what do you do for a living? ANSWER: Oh I build and sell models on Ebay ......wait, that would be COOL!!! :D

A while back I saw a grain elevator go for over one hundred dollars.....one can buy the same elevator as a kit for seventeen dollars at N Scale Supply [IMG]

Thats an unbelievable final bid on a lasercut building kit that's not particularly large by lasercut building kit standards.

I know some of those bidders.

One of them just paid over $520 for two Atlas Shays.

Stay cool and run steam..... [IMG]

    was following this one intently.
dont know why some of these structures just get into bidding wars.
and as psg mentioned, it is on the small side.
but the detail looks good, and the fit and finish too.
course cant really tell that till you get in hand,
or get some really close-up shots.

Perhaps the Leaverite in the name should be a warning. When a greenhorn would pick up a chunk of pyrite, the oldtimers would tell them it was Leaverite.

When the greenhorn would ask, they were told, "leave her right where it is".
