I guess that's about a ghost rr as you can get. :D Anyway, Santa Fe had an interlocking tower at Merced to protect the crossing. There is a move afoot to have a kit produced for that tower. It will be a laser kit and so far it looks like there maybe four scales represented, N, HO, S and O. You can catch all the chatter about it at YosemiteValleyRR@yahoogroups.com but I'm not sure you can read the archives if you aren't a member. Anyway, a neat building that can be of interest to Santa Fe fans and YV fans.

Very cool. Yosemite Valley is a neat prototype to model. Just recently picked up the book, Railroads of the Yosemite Valley by Hank Johnston. Pretty nifty. Heres a shot from Bagby, check out the double enclosed water tanks.

I also feature a page for Bagby on my Foothill Rails site. (All photos from my uncles family.) Another great structure that could be produced is the station at Bagby.

Their Bagby Tower has to be one of the most famous, most modeled. I just saw some photos of the recent RPM meet in St.Louis. And someone had their model on display.

In my collection, is a Yosemite Valley Railroad train order. Copied at Merced, California, it's dated June 28, 1909. This order is a true oddity. Normally, when you see "Motor" it refers to a doodlebug, gas mechanical, or even a diesel. This one addresses their speeder number 1!
