These days at shows I am merely a visitor. I have exhibited many times, was even exhibition manager a couple of times for my old club. Too much like hard work these days, I prefer to be on the public side of the layouts I wonder if some of the visitors realise just how much time and effort goes into transporting and erecting layouts before the show opens, and taking them down again and taking them home afterwards. That is the hard part, the operating is the fun part
Alan, That C&NW passenger engine is an E7. I was impressed with the N&W layout, and flat blown away by the coal mine scene. The more I looked at the pics, the more I coulda sworn I was hearing bluegrass music..... That small Brit layout is excellent- should keep a fella busy for quite a while just switching! Thanks for sharing these pics- it's good to see what folks "over yonder" are doing.
