Hello All, I'm new to Trainboard, but have been an on-and-off rail modeler since the Frary-Hayden Elk River Line. I went to MSTS for some time, but found it less satisfying than physical modeling. At 62, I'm thinking smaller these days, and if I can finish the tiny, portable 8"x72" transition-era switching layout shown, I'll try another, maybe a modern themed one. I'm a definite switching layout fan. I hope it's OK that I've attached a pic. That's my trusty Walthers SW-1 testing the layout. It was inspired by the Nick Palette sector plate layout in the May 1999 MR. It's a lot more fun than you might think at first glance. Best Regards to All, smyers
Welcome aboard. Switching layouts are fun. Thanks for the photo. Looking forward to seeing more as you progress.
