Since the new TrainBoard I have not been getting any email notices and finally today I noticed that when you click watch a tread it asks if you want or do not want to be emailed and I was just clicking without reading. I really think that the default there should be to email instead of not email.
    Just me
    IMHO
    Thanks Guys , Mike

Most of the sites ask you if you want to be emailed. Not emailed seems to be the default.

I guess my question would be Why? If I reed it and subscribe to it would I not want to see responses?
    IMHO
    Thanks Ken , Mike

I think it does give you an alert by default. That is a handy feature.

Most of the time I have no want of seeing responses. Maybe only one out of every 30 or so.
But, you do a lot more posting on subjects then I do, in fact most here post way more then I.
Next time I log on maybe I will take a look or maybe not.

My problem is I belong to about 12 forums and I do not have time to go look at all of them regularly, so I like to know when there is a response to something that I have an interest in .
    Thanks , Mike

I prefer to not be emailed on things. In the old days my mail box would fill up with notices from everywhere. Most sites no longer auto-email you about things.
