    Canada: Montréal's STM has selected Thales to provide broadband radio communications for CCTV, passenger monitoring and other data applications across the 69 km metro network by November 2013. Germany: Bombardier is to supply a Innovia 300 peoplemover for München airport Terminal 2. The €89m contract includes 12 vehicles and nine years of operation after opening in 2014. India: Thales is to supply smart card ticketing for Rapid MetroRail Gurgaon's privately-funded metro scheduled to open in 2013. UK: On December 15 the Tramlink Nottingham consortium signed the £570m NET Phase Two 23-year PFI contract to build two tram lines totalling 17·5 km and take over the existing line (RG 5.11 p18). Consortium member Alstom will supply 22 Citadis trams. The government is to meet 66% of the cost, with the city council meeting part of its 34% share from a workplace parking levy. USA: Septa has awarded ACS Transport Solutions a $130m contract to provide smart card ticketing for metro, bus and rail services.
