If you can't laugh at yourself, who can you laugh at? In the very last stages of this disease, you will waste hundreds of hours and lots of dollars trying to get a cloud image to print the same way twice in a row.
I was snapping clouds while driving down the Interstate on Friday. My wife said it was a worse distraction than talking on the mobile phone.mg:
Mike, What were you doing wrong????? The plain Nikes make my feet stink and the trains sneak up on me all the time! I do not get it. Where is my rubber spoon! Bob
MOON CRASHING INTO SANDIAS! DETAILS LATER! And now for our main story: Paris Hilton stained her chiffon dress today with a drop of grape juice . . .
Grave nuclear accident at Los Alamos! Details later! Now for our main story: Paris Hilton claims Jesus had turned her grape juice into wine, so she didn't know she was violating her probation . . .
I need therapy quick, I just had the almost uncontrollable urge to go outside with my camera and take photos of clouds. We get some really strange cloud formations here. I don't think it is too late and I thank Greyone for the dire warnings. I will have to read this thread daily and monitor my self for any developing symptoms. Pete: love the moon shot and the nuke. I think I am developing a twitch, oh no it could be too late!
Not like our manly New Mexican clouds. I just finished a two-week vacation in Yellowstone. It was sunny all through Colorado and northern New Mexico. On our way into Santa Fe, a monstrosity of a raincloud loomed over us. (See thumbnails below). As we neared our home, we drove into “sunshowers.” A look back at the cloud (which completely obscured all distant features) proved that even manly clouds have a pretty side. You can't see it in this photo, but the main rainbow had 13 bands. I've opted for generic pleasant-weather Santa Fe skies, though. The last thumbnail shows my initial attempt at making a backdrop for my new layout. I don't know about the clouds: should I work on them more? It almost seems like I should stop here, and leave them kind of vague-looking. What do you all think? (Beneath the clouds I will paint hills and mountains, so you sort of have to imagine that that area is all filled in). It is only one leg of the layout, but good news: the window guys say my new window is only about a month away! Then I can build the rest of the layout. Woohoo!
