I think this is probably inevitable: the mods kill a thread while someone is responding to it, perhaps a 1 in 1000 situation. But it sure boluxed up Firefox on my Mac, giving me the Mac spinning beach ball of death. After about four minutes, I finally got a message saying that I was trying to access a page that I was unauthorized to access: i.e., I think it was either deleted or moved to The Crummy. Perhaps you could tweak the software to respond more quickly or give a more definitive message? I'd say this happened about 7:10 EDT on 04/17/2013.
