Very true. Have been back since and if you like low cost DC loco's like I do, they have treasures And if I knew what I was looking for some really, really old dusty stuff. But now I am getting into DCC in N-Scale and they have nothing there. And it's everything, models, RC, trains, you name it. If you are a model kit builder trains and other's like ships, planes, cars, and such they are stacked to the ceiling. An new to very old. We used to have 4-6 model shops in Memphis, now we just have that one I believe!
I just received another Atlas Two truck Shay. Its just a fantastic locomotive to watch at 8 mph. Having fun with it....... Shades
I now have sides for a bunch of these... http://www.brasscarsides.com/pdf tech sheets/LN2551N.pdf http://www.brasscarsides.com/photos/L&N 2551-63/L&N 2551-2563.jpg

A portable shelf layout for the Jolly Green Giant???? Or... it's a Jolly Green Giant Reading layout Sent from my SM-G530T using Tapatalk
Got 16 sections of 19"r Kato unitrack curves and a pack of straight track last week. Enough for a simple loop, for break in running of locomotives. Or so I thought I needed!! Got 8 more curve sections, to complete my circle! Plus another pack of straight, a pair of terminal joiners, and a couple of grade crossings. And a much needed 2016 Rio Grande calendar.
The Kato FEF. Got it at Greenberg, from my favorite Kato guy. $175 new! Runs beter than the reviews!!! imo
Just got an email letting me know that my Atlas Alco S-2 w/ DCC and sound will ship tomorrow. It's been a while since I ordered this one, and I'm looking forward to being disappointed in the sound effects in person and not via online videos.
I've been grabbing BLMA early lift bars and wind deflectors. Not sure when or if Atlas will be producing the BLMA detail line. (I've been in kind of a detail panic) - LOL Thanks, Wolf
No kidding. I saw Walthers only has listed a handful of detail parts in stock compared to what the full line was before Craig sold it off. N scale supply also has a dwindling supply now. Hopefully Paul is going to have production started soon if not already.
I picked up some goodies from my buddy Chuck Saturday. First is the Atlas S2. I like how the undecorated model comes with all kinds of stuff (like both kinds of radiator shutters). I'm going to paint her in Western Pacific's Pumpkin scheme. 002 by WPZephyrFan posted Mar 19, 2016 at 4:13 PM The other is an A-B-B-A set of single headlight Kato F7s. I'll be repainting these as well. Two will be Pumpkin and two will be in the orange and silver freight scheme. 004 by WPZephyrFan posted Mar 19, 2016 at 4:23 PM 003 by WPZephyrFan posted Mar 19, 2016 at 4:22 PM
Hadn't planned to spend anything on trains until I have Christmas purchase paid off, ( almost there,) but had to go to Billings with the wifey for dr./denture appt's. and so just had to go to Jim's Junction! Somehow I can never get out of there without spending a penny or two or three......... Probably could have saved a dollar or two buying online, but where's the fun in that?
