Do you have enough room on your layout for all of them? If not, time to expand the layout! Bwaaa! (insert evil moose laugh here) :sneaky:

Yeah, if I remove the track, buildings, etc... and make it a 2' x 4' truck dealership :) Oh, it's called a very large diorama, yeah, that's what it will be, a diorama :) A big one!

I hope that it does not have the dreaded 'zinc-pest'. Unfortunately many Intermountain Railway Co models have this issue.

These came in yesterday-a couple of woodchip hoppers for C & D cars and a couple of gondolas for WC’s MoW fleet.

Enough wood decks to do all my MT bulkhead flat cars.

At least its not one of those interviews where you ace it to an incredible degree and then they choose someone else cause, and I quote, "he's nice looking". !!! :(

Their loss... If they're stupid enough to hire on that basis, I don't want to work for them.

Went to PnP Trains today to work on the owner’s layout and ended up spending some money.

My SP DAYLIGHT cars will now be pulled by 4449.

And another P42 in the 50th anniversary Phase VI. This will most likely be the last of the 50th paint scheme, I don’t like the Phase I scheme.

GS4's are very difficult to resist. I wasn't going to buy one due to limited funds ............ buuuuuuuut ........... I gave in. It's a wonderfully styled loco in that Lima was tasked with streamlining but still left valve gear visible along with nuts and bolts on the cleadingless smokebox ...... it still showed it is a steam locomotive not pretending to be a diesel.
If Kato is listening some GS3's and the GS5's would be nice next please. :)

I still want Kato to do the N&W Class J. To me that is the sexiest of all steam engines.

Two different Shapeways orders came in yesterday...

I'm trying to get any UP diesels from the '30's to mid 70's that I can in N scale. I have most I can find that have been made and just picked up the two above. It will probably be quite a ways down the road before I can work on them but wanted to get them now in case they aren't available later.

I have three of the Con-Cor 'Veranda Turbines' and hope the shell above will fit one of them. The info on shapeways didn't indicate and the seller hasn't ever gotten back to me about it. I'd like to get the 'Big Blow' but not welling to part with what Scale Trans is asking (not saying they are over priced there).

I've talked to James about if he is going to also do a DD35A and he said he would like to but no present time line on that. If so I'd add that also.

I want the Midnight Blue P42 Amtrak. Fruit etailer was out of decoders for it, hope they still are. need more...what's that stuff called... oh, money :)

Oh no, the DN163K0A decoder and the P42 midnight blue are in stock now, rats, decisions, decisions :) Don't press that Buy button... I'm screwed! The P42 Operation Lifesaver is awesome.

I dont know if this will help or not, but the DN163K0B will also work in the P42s. The only difference is no rear light, so it that isn't an issue for you, then you are good. I personally don't care about the rear light as I never use it.

I have all the new P42s except the Phase 1 scheme. I have 4 of them right now waiting on the decoders to be installed. I have the decoders so it shouldn't be a difficult thing to finish, it's just a matter of doing it. The Operation Life Saver is one of my favorites. I also like the Phase III Dash 8 scheme.

So first off the one in your picture is NOT the Midnight Blue. as it has Red on it, my bad. And yes I really, really, like the rear lights a lot! Gonna try to hold off while I sell some things, try :) I think after the P42 Midnight Blue I am done, I think? I might Preorder the new thing due out in March 2023, forget the name, Challenger, Charger, maybe?

    A few more arrivals today-

    1) Got a good deal on a Fox Valley BNSF Gevo on eBay. Picked up an airslide while I was at it because I like them.

    2) Received a bunch of containers-also off eBay. Also- I need to stop buying containers.

    3) All the way from Canada, received some of a large order I made in early December.
-Atlas decals for Old Style and PBR. Finally get to add them to the trucks I bought in those schemes what seems like forever ago.
-JTC well cars. All these containers need to go on something I guess.
-2 more Athearn LPG tank cars.
-Lastly, an Intermountain autorack lettered for GTW. The prototype photos show this road number as being defaced with graffiti for the Grand Funk. The band was named after the railroad, so it’s a bit circular. I love the idea, so I decided this would be the last autorack I buy…for a while at least.

Yes the one in my most recent pic isn’t the Midnight Blue one… I have that one too (see below) I posted it a few weeks ago. The Chargers are also going to be added to my collection when they come out.

Yep, that's the one I want, Midnight Blue. I even like the name, and also Operation Lifesaver name too. BTW, if they both have the exact same Digitrax decoder I can make a consist with the P42's right? I'll let a few people probably get the Chargers before I make a decision? See how they feel about them.

I have both Digitrax and TCS decoders in my Kato P42s and they can be consisted no problem. You just want to make sure they are speed matched and you will be good to go.
