Anyone know what is the size of the screw that Micro Trains provides with their body mount couplers? Thanks!

00-90 screws. And if your looking for replacement screws

    or

To body mount the Micro-Trains couplers you'll need a #62 drill bit and as mentioned above, a 00-90 tap. The Micro-Trains Tap and Drill packet says the tap has a basic outside diameter of 0.047, but according to my Digital Caliber, mine has a diameter of 0.042. Hope this info helps?

The Microtrains tap is not very good. It will work in plastic, but I would not try it in metal, or expect great threads in plastic. Better taps are available. You can get good ones on eBay for about $8. Look at the pictures carefully. Microtrains and Woodland Scenics taps are basically a threaded section with some flats ground into its sides to make cutting edges. A good tap has flutes ground into its sides. For instance: https://www.ebay.com/itm/USA-00-90-...935064?hash=item3d31963e98:g:kdkAAOSw4DJYimd6 .

Where are you guys finding the screwdrivers that fit these newer body mounts? Had one fall off recently while running and don't have a phillips head(?) small enough to be able to reattach it.

You can buy them from hobby suppy stores...OR...you can buy them at hardware stores and even Walmart.

I believe I paid $4.50 for a set at Ace Hardware Store

Along with the Jeweler's screwdriver sets, may I recommend getting a good Opti-Visor.
Quite honestly, I'd never be able to work on my N scale locomotives and rolling stock without these important tools in my hobby toolbox.
