Looks like those tracks see a lot of traffic. Well, my significant other is off visiting her folks in Virginia so I am home alone.
One day left, time to give your wife/significant other the "honey-do" to go chase some trains with you. Or even any subject of the photographer's choice. (but keep in mind your audience)
Hurry!! Yes any train related subject. Is there any one out there that will need more time do to the Rules confusion?? I don't want to miss any one.
My wife took this for me, simply because the train was on her side of the car. Dumb power lines anyway! :tb-biggrin:
Entry,s closed Contest is now closed but do to todays late hour and this red X I will post the poll later. Can some one fix the Red-X? I see one photo posted 7-14 it is out side of the contest date BUT if you remember a long time back in these contest any thing posted before the poll posting was excepted. OK if I do that? :we2-policeman: I wait for the X to clear up.
I believe I have Dave's (Steamhostler) image fixed... :tb-wink: :tb-wink: :tb-wink: :tb-wink:
Thank you and good night Thanks (sorry for no poll yet two late nights at the job site. I will try to get to it soon- Thanks for waiting)
Poll is now posted Thanks for waiting now help get the word out to vote....vote. Make sure to tell the wife's good job on the photo taking.
Everyone gets my vote for encouraging their wives to participate in our enjoyment of trains! Congrats to all!
Mines becoming quite the photographer. (And getting some good videos too.) Even Amber has her own camera and is videoing her model train going around in her room as I type this! LOL
I can't tell you how special my wife is to me. Nearly 100% of the Railfan trips that are documented on my two websites she has been at my side taking additional photographs for me and in many cases from different angles to maximize our photographic adventures together. Some of these trips have not been the easiest for her for one reason or another and this latest was no exception; standing in 90+ degree heat for two hours to get me tons of shots of the engines going around the track while I video taped them. She is the fire that keep my engine running... :rose::rose::rose::rose:
:we2-policeman:While I love the post and the picture, this was taken before the contest started. I think maybe we ought to start a separate "cutting room floor" thread for some of these taken outside the contest period. Mr. Train? (I am unable to alter the poll at this point. Fortunately, it's multiple selection.)
Not only is my wife Stephanie a Steam fan. But she's also a conductor and hostler. Steam Railroading is truly a Family event in our household. Dave
