No catfish in the water were biting but at least caught 2 on the bridge. Chattanooga TN. 2013 I think.
Taken last Sunday, NS 192 (Macon, GA => Linwood, NC) accelerates through curves at Simpson, SC. The 3620 is a GE ET44AC.
"No Catfish were biting, but caught 2 Catfish on the bridge" No sun yesterday, and pouring rain most of the day, so I went out in search of rain shots. "Rain or Shine" A well-powered high-priority intermodal (likely a Q or Z symbol) charges upgrade west out of Minot in a downpour. "CP East at Soo Tower" An eastbound CP manifest and intermodal train clatters across the diamonds at Soo Tower interlocking and scares up a group of seagulls. And one of my favorite shots of the day. After I had gotten my shot and starting walking back to the truck, the engineer tooted his horn (no grade crossings for 2 miles), and a friendly crewman climbed half out his window to wave at me! "Gray Skies Over Gassman" A westbound manifest with a heavy block of structural steel climbs high over the steel trestle.
Seems as though those in the river might be easier to cook up, a little bit less crunchy to chew than those atop the bridge....
