Is this something ex-SP? Or other RR?

Don't know. I don't even know the entire history of her on the W&P, but I presume that this is from the original SP based trackage of the W&P and so ex-SP is plausible.

Earlier this year I watched Port of Montana GP38-2 #3641, Silver Bow, Montana. Hard to catch her this day, busily ducking in and out of the yard, combined with early morning sun. Oh well. Better than trespassing or getting nothing at all.

Two oldies but goodies so far. Now I'm looking forward to what other veterans may present themselves!

Yesterday I got a pic NS train Q8E getting a new crew for the trip to Knoxville. The conductor from the earlier crew said next time he sees his boss he will try and get me an official NS reflective vest!

Yes. These types of facilities are not at all uncommon today.

Another in this vicinity if the Port of Pend Oreille. Which operates the "POVA". BTW- While touching upon this subject, POVA is not the "Pend Oreille Valley Authority" as some make the mistake. It is the "Pend Oreille VAlley Railroad."

Michigan's Huron & Eastern Railroad appears to be shedding two more of it's ex- Central Michigan GE locomotives. ex-CMGN 5175 and ex-CMGN 8905 have both recently received selective coats of fresh paint.

Ex- CMGN 5175. Care to guess who she belonged to in a former life? ;)

Ex- CMGN 8905. Belonged to Missouri Pacific at some point prior to acquisition by Central Michigan.

Both photos taken Sunday, May 19, 2013.
