    I don't know where this is, but I'm guessing Denver? I saw the IMA logo on the office building in the background, so am guessing. Nice looking equipment!

    Had a chance to get out again today and caught a few more trains!

    Triple header consist of half of which were Herzog ballast cars and the other manifest freight.

    Couple of pieces of MOW equipment that had been doing work in the area recently. In my depot thread they are responsible for the huge pile of tie plates!

    It is yes! They are a nice upgrade from the LRVs in use on most of the other lines.

    NS is going like gangbusters in the Carolinas too, with new ties and ballast in place everywhere. The work brings slow orders, which translates to more pictures. Track speed in my area is 45+ MPH making chasing almost impossible when combined with traffic lights, speed zones and distracted drivers. With slow orders I can leap frog ahead and have time to set up more shots. :)
