    ANd it doesn't seem like that long ago when I was chasing ghosts on the KCS. Nothing like a brace of white six-motor road power heading south out of Heavener, or a GP30 on the Ft. Smith Dodger.

    Is this where a historic depot burned down in recent years? Or what site am I thinking of?

    I hear some stack talk with that CRM steamer. I wonder how it sounded from track side? Also interesting to see the stand up crew. I don't see seating anywhere.

    boxcab, lots of stack talk going up the 4% grade around the roundhouse, the sound echoed in the valley when it climbed the grade. There are seats that fold up from below the windows, however the firemans position is extremely difficult to operate from the seat, not sure why the engineer didn't use the seat, he only operated the engine while our normal guy was at lunch, and our normal guy uses the seat.

    We're in negotiations. The bedrooms are small. Perhaps a switching layout or diorama in my office.
