    Some photos showing the work done on the new backscene this evening. I'm pleased with the results so far.

    I still have a bit of work to do with the lighting to reduce the shadows on the backscene, but it is getting there.

    Went to Alexandria this afternoon, didn't get back til 6:30. Picked up these two items while I was there.

    A new Canadian grain hopper:

    And a Phillips 66 3 dome tank car:

    I also got 6 conifer trees, 6 cedar trees and 3 elm trees.

    Jon Grant, these pics look tremendous. I wouldn't have noticed the shadows unless you had mentioned them....even then I had to look closely for them....

    Tom,
    Those are really nice shots. My girlfriend walked in and looked over my shoulder and said, "Those are models?" Best compliment I can offer.

    The basics are complete on the powered N Burro crane project.

    [IMG]

    Here it is running:

    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZkttVZc-Ges"]YouTube - N scale powered Burro crane - Test 2[/ame]

    For details see the N thread I've been doing on the construction.

    Scott's UP photo has my vote. A little more "dirt" on the loco's and some tree roots on that tree in the foreground I'd have a hard time separating it from the real thing.
    Nice swiss watch work on the N-scale crane!

    All I can say is WOW! I live near Hainesburg and have visited the viaduct often..you did an excellent job capturing the area. Sorry to hear it's an "old" layout as in tore up..

    Alright man... I've got a pretty good eye for this type of thing so either I'm getting older and my eyes are failing, or I'm just losing my touch... is that model or prototype??? That water is playing tricks on me... :D
