Good morning from cloudy, mild and rainy Northeast Ohio!

Since I did that 60' WM car a couple of weeks back, I decided to use some more of that Microscale WM sheet, 50' AAR Branchline Boxcar kit, with new 9' doors painted with Scalecoat II Boxcar Red paint. The R on the side designated cars with roller bearing trucks. Could not find out where the car went in Hagerstown, MD as there were a number of industries that could use a car with DF2 loader systems.

Keeping with my PC modeling of late, a Tangent G43 kit that started with the PRR and continued with the PC making over 4,000 of these gons on the combined railroad. Car was painted with Floquil PC Green and Rust Paints, then lettered with Dan Kohlbergs decals for this car. Loads were Tangent Coils.

This will be the last new picture from the club layout, as the Strongsville Historical Society has closed the site due to the ongoing crisis. Last week I took my 4 completed DT&I 4600 CF Covered Hopppers with some assorted Landmark Covered Hoppers to the club pulled by my favorite GP38-2's.

Thanks for all the nice comments last week, and thanks to all who posted last week, it was one of the largest postings we have had in a while.

    Thanks for looking!

Here is a different one for you.
My N scale refinery, on club layout, is very much in need of some "sounds", so I am making that happen. I have used a program and have downloaded 10 or 12 sound clips and have blended them to come up with an 11 minute WAV file. Sounds such as pumps, alarms, whistles, steam releases, high pressure flow through piping and the like. What shall I play it with?

The top right item is a voltage regulator so I can keep input between 3.5 - 5.0 volts for the mini player which is the left item. quarter to show size comparison. I have wired the power from regulator to player as well as speaker wires from the player. I need to wire up the 3 sets of pads. The left set will control vol.+ as well as track forward, middle set will be play/pause, 3rd set is for vol.- as well as track back.

The first sound file is for the "inside" refinery sounds. I have also made one with sounds to be in the truck loading area, as well as main gate. Sounds such as dogs barking, cats meowing, truck stopping and air brakes setting, flock of birds flying away, a flight of 4 small aircraft flying over, CB chatter, and I am sure I forgot some. It sounds good and will compliment the refinery noises well. It is 10 min in length. I have a second regulator and player for this file too.

Having fun as always, keeps me out of the bars, oh yea, they are closed anyway,
    Carl

PS: I forgot to mention that each player board has a 2W amp attached.

Thank you for the nice words!
But in this case the credit goes to Jürg Rüedi.
Yes, some of the pictures are Z-scale but some others not.
Can you tell which is which?

Sven - taking a stab that the CP is N and the others are HO?

    Incredibly detailed and proportionate work!
