Boxcab, I now have a few photos on IrfanView on my computer. Can I post them to here without regard to resizing photos like those down loaded from Photoshop? I think you missed my post to you, #17 above). Jim

Jim- No. I did not miss your post #17. That is why I was agreeing with those who had suggested IrfanView. So you could easily re-size, if our software does not like what you are trying to upload. It used to automatically do a re-size for you, but since we changed to the present TrainBoard, some seem to have issues. With IrfanView, it is easily to ct size to under 100KB. That size is a good start point.

As I have my own web site, I simply link in any size picture. No issues.

In the menu bar at top, look for "Railimages" and drop it down, then look for "Add Media" and it will shunt you over to uploading pictures.

Obviously I have NO clue. I'm asked for an Image URL. Don't know what or where that is. Jim

Jim, if you right click on the image it should open a box with the image URL that you can copy. (Copy Image Address) Otherwise it is available in the column to the right in the bar that says "share image". You copy that link and then paste it into the box for the picture icon on the posting tool bar.
Three of your images that I found in Railimages.

I went to the Railimages page, scrolled down the new images until I found yours. I clicked on it to pull up this page. On the right in the box "share this media" I selected the second line down and copied what was in the box. I pasted that into the box provided by the "Image" icon and clicked on the "insert" button.

Thank you Russell, I found very high pixel photo and got the Railimages resizer to work. I think. If a pic appears here I guess I will get rid of the other program and see how this works out.

My official photo this week. Jim Does not work. I get a black rectangle screen asking for a URL...

OKAY. I got it to work. Seems one has to copy it from Railimages first then proceed to a thread. Right?

Yeah, I usually have two screens open, Trainboard and Railimages, and go from one to the other copying and pasting.

A small learning curve, but nothing truly complex. Now you can share more goodies with us!

Awesome shots above. Some great modeling on this forum.

Got the portal done, underpass that connects my staging yard to Albemarle City. First "little bit" of scenery on the new layout. Slowly but surely.

This is a switching operation I ran this afternoon, coming out of the staging yard and entering the layout .....

"Thousands of images promoting goods sold on Amazon and other shopping sites have been removed after a photo-sharing service changed its terms.

Ebay and Etsy have also been affected, in addition to many forums and blogs.

The problem has been caused by Photobucket introducing a charge for allowing images hosted on its platform to be embedded into third-party sites.
The company caught many of its members unaware with the change, prompting some to accuse it of holding them to ransom.

Denver-based Photobucket is now seeking a $399 (£309) annual fee from those who wish to continue using it for "third-party hosting" and is facing a social media backlash as a consequence...............................

"Bulletin boards across the globe are being crippled as previously vibrant threads with detailed images are disappearing.

"People who have used Photobucket for hosting these images successfully for over 10 years are finding that they will have to literally start again with what for some, amounts to a lifetime's work."

Dieselfan.. Would like to ask, how did you fabricate the tall pier? I am in the process of looking for double track bridge kits for a deep ravine I have connecting the 2 sides of my layout. I need a couple of piers such as you have there. I am considering building a mold and casting a couple in hydrocal.

Excellent water casting as well. Good job.
