I finally got some photos from last week's camp loaded. Not only do the kids learn modeling skills, they learn about all the railroad stuff at the museum. And since I have a "captive" audience, I give them an Operation Life Saver presentation too. Up in the cupola of the caboose. Checking out the wig wag. One of the new modules completed this year. Running trains.
Update on my post from 7/1: C&O Boxcar weathered and on the layout Weathered by inspiration from C&O 3586 in Marshalltown, IA 1966. http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=79723 Clinchfield 52775, an Atlas Trainman model.
Well, as many of you know, I haven't been doing a lot of modeling these past couple weeks. But, that didn't stop train related activity! At the museum where my daughter's wedding was held, there is this RR exhibit, modeling the Los Altos, CA Southern Pacific station back in the early 20th century. Here are the two of us. And, we also went out and ran trains for about 15 minutes Sunday morning, before we had to leave for preparations.
Someone over on NScale.net requested a video of my T1's performance, so I thought that I'd share it here too.
